Hatoya Shibuya
Kyoto's Hatoya Ryoyosha opened this Okushibuya stand on 1 July 2025, its second Tokyo site after Asakusa. Founder Junsuke Maruyama, a former barista, buys Uji tea by single origin, and the signature Matcha Latte Ichi is whisked to order with a chasen at a counter of linked cylindrical columns under a neon sign. Grades step up through Ni and San; the Hatoya Shake is the thicker option. Toppings include shiratama, kokuto and matcha ice cream, and a Shibuya-only monaka is filled with house matcha bean paste. Terrace seats face Kamiyama-dori, five minutes from Yoyogi Park.
