Kagurazaka Saryo Honten
KagurazakaIidabashi Station5 min
The original branch of Kagurazaka Saryo hides down a stone-paved alley off the Kagurazaka slope, in a converted townhouse whose timber interior still reads as a private residence. Teas are drawn from producers across Japan, including Uji's long-established Marukyu Koyamaen, and brewed by specialist staff. The signature saryo parfait layers matcha pudding, hojicha ice cream and crisp puffed rice, while seasonal work runs to matcha fondue, shaved ice and a mont blanc piped in thread-fine strands. A full savoury menu of obanzai and dashi udon means it works as lunch as much as dessert. Sixty seats, open until 22:00, and no reservations taken.

Kinozen
KagurazakaIidabashi Station3 min
Kinozen served Kagurazaka for 74 years as a kanmidokoro before closing in September 2022, and the loss was felt widely enough that Create Restaurants revived it: the shop reopened on 18 July 2025, a little further up the slope from the original site. The signature matcha bavarois is unchanged, a smooth and restrained set cream carrying real matcha bitterness, served with softly whipped cream and chunky Tamba Dainagon azuki. The anko is boiled daily in-house without colouring, which is why it keeps its pale wisteria tone. Anmitsu and summer kakigori round out a short menu, and a front showcase sells the same sweets to take away.
